Insight: The general public is cynical of financial institutions, most of which put the needs of shareholders first while investing in industries that negatively impact the world. Vancity, on the other hand, uses their members’ contributions to improve local communities.
Starworks, a local social enterprise providing meaningful employment to developmentally disabled individuals, assembled the pennies onto 4' x 8' panels, which we later installed on location.
